As Associate Producer on the documentaries Leave Them Laughing and Within Reach, I have been part of two extraordinary teams of filmmakers; people with vision, determination and courage. In Leave Them Laughing, singer and humorist Carla Zilbersmith’s amazing spirit is kept alive after her death from ALS. In Within Reach, two remarkable young adults seek sustainable community by traveling across the United States on bicycles and learn much more than they could have ever envisioned about America and themselves.

Academy Award winning director John Zaritsky's Leave Them Laughing is winning major awards throughout the United States and Canada because Carla is hilarious and courageous in the face of what many of us would run from screaming. And Within Reach – while still in post production – has already attracted thousands to its website as it raises funds to complete an extraordinary journey.

I am asking that you be heroic and generous in spirit, like the protagonists of these amazing films, and contribute a small amount for a tax deductible donation.
